The soccer skills of Southeast Asian countries vary. Some countries, such as Thailand and Vietnam, have seen success in recent years in regional competitions and have developed strong domestic leagues.
Other countries, such as Laos and Cambodia, have less developed soccer programs and have yet to have as much success in international competitions. Overall, the level of soccer skills in Southeast Asia is generally considered lower than in more established soccer nations in Europe and South America. The story of soccer skills in Southeast Asian countries is generally considered lower than in European countries. European countries have a long history of soccer and have well-established domestic leagues and national teams. Many of the top soccer players and teams in the world come from Europe.

Additionally, European countries have more resources and infrastructure dedicated to developing soccer talent.  While some Southeast Asian countries have developed strong domestic leagues and have had success in regional competitions, they are not yet on par with the top soccer nations in Europe.

It's difficult to say which Southeast Asian country is the best in soccer as it can vary depending on the current form and the level of competition. However, historically, teams like Thailand, Vietnam, and Singapore have had more success in regional competitions such as the AFF Suzuki Cup and the Southeast Asian Games, compared to other Southeast Asian countries. Thailand has been the most consistent team in recent years, having made an impressive run in the 2019 AFC Asian Cup, reach to the semi-finals for the first time in history. They also have a strong domestic league, Thai League 1, which has consistently improved its play level. Similarly, Vietnam has been showing steady progress in recent years, they were the runner-up in AFF Suzuki Cup 2018, and they also made it to the semi-final of the 2019 AFC Asian Cup.
It's worth mentioning that teams like Indonesia and the Philippines have not been performing well in recent years, but they have great potential and should not be underestimated. It's worth noting that the level of soccer skill in Southeast Asia is generally considered to be lower than in more established soccer nations in Europe and South America, so it's hard to compare Southeast Asian teams with the best teams in the world.
